Older Dogs Available

A GREAT OPTION FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO TRAIN A PUPPY OR CAN’T MAKE A 12 YEAR COMMITMENT TO A PET.

The following dogs are available to qualified pet homes for a nominal adoption fee.  These dogs are retiring from our show and/or breeding program and are offered strictly as companion house pets and not intended for further breeding. We will require that they be spayed/neutered – no exceptions.

    Genny-Face-2
    GENNY: “PINEHAVEN CRESSMOOR’S PUREOXYGEN” D.O.B. - 10/26/01
Genny is 7 years old.  She has had 3 litters.  Genny has good house manners and gets along well with other dogs and children.   She is an easy easy keeper. This girl has never had a bad day in her life. Like most Labrador, if you have food, Genny will be your best buddy!
Hips/Elbows are OFA certified and eyes have been cleared annually.

    Stella-Face
    STELLA:  “CRESSMOOR’S STILETTO”  D.O.B. – 05/06/01
Stella will be 8 years old in May. If you like to throw things – this girl will retrieve them for you! Stella is reliable as a house dog, compatible with other dogs, and will be your friend for life if you scratch her belly. However, she is also a fabulous “house keeper” and more than happy to pick up and dispose of any shoes or articles of clothing left lying about the house.   For this reason, she would do best in a home with very tidy humans who keep things picked up and put away.

    Chimes-Face02
    CHIMES:  “CRESSMOOR’S MUSICAL CHIMES”. D.O.B. – 08-27-03
This girl is a testimony to the pure heart and stamina that is the hallmark of the Labrador.  Chimes was temporarily paralyzed on 02/15/06 after slipping on the ice and twisting her spine. She rebounded back, much to our delight, and can out run the rest of our crew on any given day during a squirrel chase!  She is in great condition and perfect health now. Despite the injury, she shows only a mild change in her gaiting pattern when she walks.  Still a retrieving fool, smart as a whip, and ready to play at 5 years old; we would like to see this girl go to a home where she would get a lot of attention and plenty of time to go on walks or romps in the yard. She can manage staircases, but because her fine motor skills on the rear are not as perfect as they once were, we’d prefer that her new owner have a minimal number of steps for her to navigate – just to keep her safe.
